I used to come see your shows at the Canal Room. Is it still open?  

The Canal Room closed in January of 2014. However, Marcus Linial, former Canal Room owner and current owner of Fun Music Presents, still produces the I Love The 90s Show and Back To The Eighties Show weekly @ Rumi Ballroom at 229 West 28th Street in the heart of Chelsea. 

 

Do you offer group discounts? 

No, but we can process larger ticket orders for groups of 20 or more with a reduced service fee. 

 

Can I have my bachelorette, bachelor, or birthday party at one of your shows? 

Yes! We make special accommodations to make sure your party is over the top. To book a party at one of our weekly shows, please see our VIP page

 

Can I bring food into the club? 

No outside food or drinks are to be brought into Rumi Ballroom. However, if you would like to bring a treat for a birthday or bachelorette party, we do allow cupcakes!

 

Can I get tickets at the door? 

Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the show beginning at 11pm. Please keep in mind that the box office no longer accepts cash for tickets to Fun Music Presents shows.

 

Can I buy tickets ahead of time? 

Yes! We recommend buying tickets ahead of time to guarantee entry to the show (and to skip the line!) You’ll find ticket links on our home page beneath each event, or you can visit Ticketweb.com and search for the show you’d like to attend.

 

Do you offer VIP tickets? 

Yes. Please see our VIP page for more information.

 

How much are your tickets? 

Ticket prices vary depending on each of our events. However, tickets to our weekly I Love The 90s Show are $17 in advance, $21 at the door, while tickets to our Back to the Eighties show are $23 in advance, $28 at the door. 

Can I pay with cash?

No. If you are buying tickets at the door, the box office will accept CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS, and MOBILE PAYMENTS only.

 

Can I pay by credit card? 

Yes! We now accept all major credit cards online and at the door.

 

How do I purchase general admission tickets for a large group? 

If you are purchasing tickets for a group of 20 or more, please give us a call at 212-941-8100 or email us at info@funmusicpresents.com.

 

How long are your weekly shows? 

Our bands play for about two hours.

 

How late is the club open? 

On Fridays and Saturdays, Le Poisson Rouge is open until 4am.

 

How early should I arrive for a show? 

The doors are open at 11pm.

 

What happens when the band is done playing? 

At each of our weekly shows, a DJ will be spinning before and after the band’s set.

 

It’s my birthday. Can I come see a show for free? 

Yes! Just provide the bouncer with a valid license at the door (and bring a friend for free, too!)

 

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code for our weekly shows - come as you are or in your 80s/90s best!
